careerchangeThere are a number of reasons workers in the fast food or retail business become frustrated at their current positions, and considering a move to one of the many Mcdonalds careers can help put your future into perspective.

You spend close to half of your lifetime working, and if you are employed at a company that leaves you unfulfilled, it’s probably time to make a change for your own health and well-being.

Jenny Rapapport from Tampa, FL filled out an application for Mcdonalds in 2006 and was hired almost instantly.  She left her waitress job at a local restaurant and  started working part-time as a crew member during that summer when she was 21 and was quickly promoted to 2ndassistant manager within a year.  She suddenly found herself at the age of 22 with a tremendous amount of responsibility and her eyes became wide open with the possibilities.

“I would say if you seek Mcdonalds employment with the hopes of moving up the ranks, the opportunities are there, butyou better be ready to work your tail off!” says Rapapport.  Before filling out a McDonalds employment application or considering a career change to any company it’s important to put everything into perspective by answering these questions honestly:

  • Are you leaving your present employer over personality differences with someone suchas your boss?
  • Can live with a temporary pay reduction?
  • Is this really what you want to do, and why?

Mcdonalds careers are perfect for switching  careers for many reasons such as job security and quick career advancement opportunities.
